Baby Charlotte

Alright I think we can all agree that duchess Kate looked amazing when she left the hospital with Lil Charlotte😊 so sweet.
What is irking me is the way people are shaming her for looking so good.. You better believe that after having a baby I will be leaving the hospital wearing sweats, a comfy t, and my hair in a high blob but guess what? I don't have a bazillion people taking pics of me after. If I had that many cameras pointed at me I would definitely class it up. And we all know if she came out of the hospital looked like how I would in that case the people would throw a fit.
Poor girl has no chance regardless of what she does. End of rant.

Water noodle!

So all yesterday I had some serious braxton hicks going on. Since I had Emmett about 4 weeks early this totally freaked me out! Luckily we went to bed and I woke up at my normal time and no more contractions! Wahoo! I'm excited to meet this little guy but he needs to marinate a bit longer.
Anyway Emmett and I have had a little fun recently trying out new summer pinterest ideas😁. Can I tell you how much I love summer? Ahhh so fun. So pinterest had the idea to take a normal pool noodle and poke holes in it to make a fun spraying noodle!
Emmett wasn't sure about it at first but then got into it.  My plug that I put together with electrical tape didn't hold great so it only sprayed about a foot. I reinforced it with duct tape and then it worked great but I of course didn't get a pic of that lol.  So i just used a bbq scewer to poke the holes and then shove the hose up the noodle.
This is a great idea for a toddler! Older than that and I think they'd get bored pretty quick.

Prego

What prego woman doesn't love talking about being prego?  I definitely am no exception.  A while back I started to realize however that being pregnant for the second time is so different from the first.  When I was pregnant with Emmett I took a picture of my growing belly at least once a month (I'm not an every weeker). Now I am 34 weeks along and I have taken a total of 2 for this babe.  They were selfies.  For some reason I feel like selfies are a cheap version of what a good picture could be.  Here I am at 20 weeks and then again at 32 weeks.

So if I keep doing less the poor 3rd kid is gonna have nothing ha! poor guy.  
Another difference is that my body is so not as strong as it was with the first.  This is completely my fault for not working it like it needed in between having babes but still...I am feeling it this time around all the aches and pains and such when with the first I didn't really have any issues and couldn't figure out why everyone thought being prego was so hard haha oh how the times have changed.  It's still completely worth it, just not as easy.  
The awesome things about this pregnancy are that I could feel this kid moving so much earlier than I could with my first. Feeling them move is what makes being prego amazing.  I also am not working out of the house so when Em sleeps I get to sleep!  ahhh heaven. 
Em is starting to point out babies when we go out.  Everytime he hears a kid cry he looks at me and asks 'baby?'.  I am so excited for him to have a brother to play with.  He for sure will be jealous at first when the babe is going to take up a lot of mommy and daddy's attention but I think he'll get over it fairly quick.
Anyway I'm so stinkin excited for June.

Hi!

My name is Haley, but you can call me Cordelia (first person to name the movie gets 5 points).    I have an awesome family, you will get to meet them. 

First there is Caleb.  He’s my hubby.  He can fix and make anything.  It’s pretty awesome. He will even do the dishes without me asking.  Oh and he’s incredibly good looking.  Yeah I did good.

 Next there is my sweet lil monster Emmett.  He is so stinkin happy as long as I keep his blood sugar up (which is no easy task).  This kid loves food.  Seriously loves food.  He also loves horses and the color orange.

Lastly there is the belly baby.  He will be here sometime in June.  We’re pretty stoked.  I’m so excited to have my boys play together, even if it won’t happen for a while.

Whelp that’s us in a very tiny nutshell. But you are saying that doesn’t answer why I am writing a blog.  Well here it is:  I love to talk about my family.  I love to talk about other people’s families.  I love to talk about health and fitness.  I love to try new pinterest things.   I am a SAHM and sometimes I miss talking with adults.  I feel like this is a good place to talk to adults about these things.  So leave me a comment and a link to your blog.
